COLOR/ICONS

Some of my first color combinations. I began mixing in the light blue from the graph paper and the grey that was the pencil marks from my scrap book with other colors since they were on every page. I really didn't find inspiration in my colors  because my whole theme was about numbers so I went in the direction of making the grid stand out.

The one that really works for me is the scheme of grey for the solid colors, and red for the grid line work. It really gives a punch to the grid, which I know was meant to be the most articulate aspect of your set. The red grids really emphasize where numbers are found in each of your icons, without actually showing numbers. I think it's a successful color application.
